The signatory companies of the Diversity Charter are primarily SMEs and micro-enterprises. Nearly 30% of the companies have fewer than nine employees and over 75% have a staff of under 250. They work in a wide range of business sectors and are quite representative of the French economy. Seventy percent of them are committed to diversity for moral and ethical reasons.
What’s behind the signature?
When a company signs the Diversity Charter, it commits to implementing the six articles in the Charter. It also agrees to report on the actions it has implemented the prior year in an annual online questionnaire. These actions are posted on the Diversity Charter website.
The Secretariat General for the Diversity Charter uses this feedback to create a survey in association with a research firm on the actions be taken by the signatory companies of the Diversity Charter.
